Choosing to Excel, a non-profit 501(c)3 healthy choice organization, was developed to glamorize and promote the benefits associated with abstinence, marriage and character development. The program began implementation in 1991 and began reaching students through classroom presentations in 1992. Since its beginning, CTE has reached thousands of children, youth, young adults and families with the benefits of choosing abstinence.

Summer Impact 2009

Its that time of year again!  Choosing to Excel has been serving our community for over 17 years and this summer we continue one of our favorite and longest running programs:  Summer Impact.

Weekdays from 9:00-1:00 we invite you to bring your child/students from the ages of 8-14 to join us for a month of summer learning and fun!  Dedicated to giving the youth of Faulkner County an experience of growth and learning, Choosing to Excel's Summer Impact program has many different experiences that your child will enjoy, including:

Dance with the Stars III

Another success story!  Choosing to Excel's 3rd Annual Dance with the Stars was held on Friday, April 24 at the beautiful Agora Conference Center.  Over 500 guests packed the venue to see Faulkner County's stars dance the night away!  Each of the nine competing couples performed a dance of their choice for 2 mintues as the judges and audience members chose their favorites.  Congratulations to this year's winners!
